Job summary

D2B is seeking an experienced Solicitor with NSW civil and criminal litigation exposure to provide remote legal support. The role involves handling files end-to-end, drafting court documents, and coordinating with courts and counsel for active matters.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, strong English communication, and a solid grasp of NSW procedures. A remote working setup is available with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation.
• Experience supporting criminal litigation matters is highly regarded.
• Strong working knowledge of NSW court procedures, filing requirements, and rules.
• Proficiency in Smokeball practice management software is required.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to draft court-ready documents.
• Experience in an Australian legal environment is mandatory.
• Exposure to conveyancing, family law, wills or estates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support civil and criminal litigation matters end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Draft pleadings, court documents, briefs, and instructions to counsel.
• Monitor deadlines, court dates, and compliance across multiple files.
• Manage client files in Smokeball and coordinate with courts and counsel.
