Job summary

Fig Advisory in the Philippines is seeking a senior collections specialist to own end-to-end accounts for an Australian client. You will manage a portfolio in arrears, have tough conversations by phone and email, and set up workable payment arrangements on Australian hours.

This is an onsite role based in North EDSA, Munoz, with early starts. We value character, discipline and drive, and offer government-mandated benefits and a real ownership seat on an Australian account.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in collections, credit, arrears or recoveries.
• Comfortable on the phone with customers who do not want to hear from you.
• Sound judgement and the ability to distinguish between unable to pay and unwilling.
• Clear spoken and written English for dealing with Australian customers.
• Accurate record-keeping of promises and arrangements.
• Able to work onsite in North EDSA, Munoz, and start early for Australian hours.

Collections is the job nobody puts on a highlight reel.

THE ROLE

You will be the senior person on a collections and credit desk supporting an Australian client. Not a dialler seat. You will own accounts end to end, make the judgement calls, and set the standard for the people who join behind you.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

WHAT WE NEED

• Sound judgement. You know the difference between someone who cannot pay and someone who will not
• Clear spoken and written English. You will be dealing with Australian customers directly
• Accurate. Promises and arrangements get recorded properly or they do not count
• Able to work onsite in North EDSA, Munoz, and to an early morning start on Australian hours

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

If you need to be chased, this will not work. If you go quiet when a week goes badly, this will not work. If you want a script and a queue and no decisions, there are easier jobs than this one.

We look for three things. Character, which is doing the right thing when nobody is checking. Discipline, which is keeping the standard on the days you do not feel like it. Drive, which is leading when it gets difficult instead of waiting to be told.
