Satellite Office is seeking a Collections Specialist to own a portfolio of Australian and New Zealand customer accounts from its Philippines operations, focusing on resolving delinquencies and maintaining strong business relationships.
You will contact customers by phone and email, negotiate payment arrangements, investigate billing discrepancies, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to remove barriers and meet collection targets.

As a Collections Specialist, you'll take ownership of a dedicated customer portfolio, helping customers resolve outstanding balances, navigate payment challenges, and maintain healthy business relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with stakeholders, and finding practical solutions that benefit both the customer and the business.
You'll work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams while gaining valuable exposure to international customers and business practices.
Manage a portfolio of Australian and New Zealand customer accounts.
Engage customers through phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices and payment commitments.
Negotiate payment arrangements and support customers in resolving account issues.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and invoice disputes.
Work closely with internal teams to remove payment barriers and facilitate resolution.
Monitor aged receivables and identify accounts that require escalation or special attention.
Maintain accurate account records and customer communications.
Prepare collections updates and portfolio reports.
Support the achievement of collection targets while maintaining positive customer relationships.
At least 3 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or a related role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Experience managing customer accounts and resolving payment issues.
Confidence speaking with customers and stakeholders over the phone.
Experience using ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting Australian and/or New Zealand customers.
Experience working in a Shared Services, BPO, or multinational environment.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience.
Exposure to high-volume collections portfolios.
