Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Australian bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Direct experience in Australian Commercial Construction industry.
• Minimum 2+ years daily operational experience using MYOB (Advanced/Essentials).
• Solid understanding of Australian tax requirements (GST, BAS/IAS, Superannuation, and TPAR).
• Exposure to construction software integrations (e.g., Procore, OneCore) is a plus.
• Experience or willingness to handle bookkeeping for Family Trust and SMSF entities.

Responsibilities

• MYOB daily data entry to maintain up-to-date finances across active jobs.
• Prepare monthly Project P&L and OH&S reporting from MYOB.
• Sales invoicing and AR; issue debtor statements and reminders.
• Accounts payable and procurement analysis; manage payment proposals.
• Trade credit maintenance and supplier insurances; OH&S records.
• Bank and entity reconciliations for Family Trust and SMSF.
• Fortnight payroll processing; Superannuation tracking and leave calculations.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, TPAR data; assist in tax compliance support.
• VoIP communication with clients; maintain audit trail and minutes.
