Frontline Accounting seeks an Accountant with 2 years of Australian accounting experience to support offshore finance operations. You will handle general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close while collaborating with onshore teams.

The role is remote with AU hours (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Manila) and requires GAAP/IFRS knowledge, proficiency in Xero and MYOB, and strong communication skills to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress) is a plus
• GAAP/IFRS knowledge
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare Financial Statements and BAS preparation.
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Year-end reporting for payroll.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Communicate and collaborate with onshore finance team members.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with 2years of experience to support our finance and accounting operations. This offshore position involves working closely with the onshore team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting reconciliations.
• Prepare Financial Statements and BAS preparation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of Australian accounting experience (preferably in a shared service or offshore setting).
• CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero & MYOB).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Experience of working with international clients or teams.
• Familiarity with time zone coordination and remote collaboration tools (Teams etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)

Work Arrangement: WFH
