Job summary

D2B is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator with New Zealand construction experience for both residential and commercial projects. The role covers estimating, cost tracking, procurement, variations and tender submissions, with workflow supporting project teams and clients.

The candidate should understand NZ terminology and pricing, communicate confidently with clients and partners, and be available for 30–40 hours per week aligned to NZ business hours.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent practical NZ construction experience may be considered.
• Experience in residential and commercial projects essential.
• Proven estimating and tender submissions experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, schedules and tender docs.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for residential and commercial projects.
• Develop pricing schedules and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain tender registers and cost reports.
