Teradyne, Inc. in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead process transfer, assembly development, and production ramp activities for new product programs.

The role requires an experienced engineer with expertise in NPI, DFM/DFA, tooling, and documentation control. You will work across Engineering, Quality, Ops, and Supply Chain to ensure timely, cost-effective product transfers and readiness.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or related roles.
• Experience leading process development, product transfer, and ramp activities.
• Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and propose practical solutions.

• Lead readiness activities for NPI programs including process transfer and production ramp.
• Develop and stabilize manufacturing processes and assembly work methods.
• Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
• Assess manufacturability and identify risks related to yield and cycle time.
• Use data analysis to investigate issues and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional resolution with Eng, Quality, Ops, and Supply Chain.
• Define requirements for pilot builds, validation, and transition to production.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Ensure readiness of tooling, documentation, and material supply for transfers.
• Collaborate with external manufacturing partners as needed.
