Job summary

Teradyne, a global leader in semiconductor test equipment, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) to lead manufacturing process transfer, assembly method development, and production ramp for new products. You will define work instructions and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for manufacturing release.

You will require 5+ years in manufacturing engineering and a strong background in DFM/DFA and process documentation, enabling robust, producible processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Manufacturing Engineering or NPI.
• Experience leading process development, product transfer, or pilot builds.
• Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, root-cause analysis, and process capability.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness activities for assigned NPI programs, including process transfer and ramp.
• Develop and stabilize manufacturing processes, tooling strategies, and documentation.
• Perform risk assessment on manufacturability and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure successful product transfer to manufacturing with released docs and tooling.
