Job summary

StaffRight Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Comptroller to oversee nonprofit financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and strengthen internal controls. The role supports leadership with financial oversight and strategic input, working remotely with a graveyard shift in the Philippines to align with US time zones.

You will manage month-end close, cash flow, and audits, while fostering compliant processes and reliable financial analyses for decision makers.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/controllership experience.
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or behavioral health environments preferred.
Experience with accounting systems; NetSuite is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll oversight.
Prepare monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual reports, and analyses for leadership and Board review.
Monitor cash flow, oversee banking relationships, and maintain internal controls.
Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
Support financial planning, process improvements, and documentation of policies.
