Job summary

Omnis Prosperity Group in Makati, Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and uphold robust internal controls.

You will supervise daily accounting activities, review transactions, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, coordinate with auditors and banks, manage cash flow, assist in budgeting, and train staff to improve procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the daily activities of the accounting team.
• Review and verify accounting transactions, journal entries, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and other transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor cash flow, collections, payments, and other financial activities.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and other external parties as needed.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide required schedules and documentation.
• Identify accounting issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Train, guide, and evaluate accounting staff to ensure effective performance.
• Prepare financial analysis and reports for management as required.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
