Job summary

First Technology (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Network System Engineer to support a systems integrator environment with daily travel to client sites. The role covers configuring Cisco and Fortinet security, core switches, APs, VPNs, and server infrastructure across multiple client locations.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, and SQL, with certifications like CCNA/MCSE considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in systems integration or SI support (preferred)
• CCNA/MCSE or similar certifications advantageous
• On-site IT support at client locations; daily travel expected
• High School Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Computer Studies

Responsibilities

• Configure and support CISCO, Fortinet, firewall and antivirus
• Work with CISCO core switches and wireless APs (Aironet/Meraki/HP Aruba)
• Familiarize with CISCO LAN/WAN design
• Pre-sales to Point-to-Point and Client VPN
• Install Windows Server OS, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and server PCs
• Set up VMware, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server; manage hardware

Senior Network System Engineer (Systems Integrator Environment – Daily Travel Required)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Able to configure/ support CISCO, Fortinet, Firewall & Antivirus, and other security software.

• Experience with CISCO core switches, Access Points (Wireless) such as Aironet / Meraki / HP Aruba is a plus.

• Familiarize with CISCO Network LAN & WAN design.

• Pre-sales to Point to Point and Client VPN.

• Setup and perform troubleshooting with network technical skills, including CISCO Routers, CISCO Switches, wireless devices, Fortinet Firewalls, and system management tools like Network Analysis.

• Install WINDOWS Server O/S, WIN 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform for Servers, and PCs with hands-on experience in setup and configuration.

• Knowledge of setup/configure VMWare, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server, along with hardware configuration experience (Server, external backup, UPS) in FAS System, HPE Storage, Synology NAL, etc.

Requirements:

• Unified Communication experience is desirable but not necessary.

• Provide on-site IT support at various client locations across Singapore. Daily travel is required.

• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or other professional certificates would be advantageous.

• High School Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Computer Studies.

• Minimum of 3 years of systems support with System Integration (SI) experience is preferred but not necessary.
