Qualifications

• Proven experience with Advanced Routing (BGP design and troubleshooting) and Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, Etc.).
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, Security+ or equivalent certifications.
• Strong Expertise with Cisco Nexus devices.
• Experience with Cisco NSO is desired.
• Cloud Architecture Certifications are an asset.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks within established time frames.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision, self-motivation, and tight deadlines.
• 7+ years or more Networking experience
• 2+ years of Architecture and solution design experience
• Proven Client Management experience

Responsibilities

• Technical Consultancy for clients (Minimal Travel may be required)
• Ensure accurate time tracking for client billing and future time estimates
• Mentor & Train Infrastructure Support team members
• Training/Hand-off to Operations Team Engineers for deployments (architectures, procedures, guidelines, etc.)
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Act as Level 3 for IS team Incidents
• Participation in Service Restoration Efforts (SRTs)
• Escalate service issues to the Manager of Services
• Stay current with the latest technologies, security threats and vulnerabilities.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Sr. Network Engineer is a senior-level resource working primarily on operational services within the SecureOps' Infrastructure Support (IS) department. Reporting to the IS Manager, the Sr. Network Engineer works with other IS team members to implement networking and security solutions, complex changes, and service improvements.

The Sr. Network Engineer will work closely with the IS Project Manager to receive assignments, provide status updates, and ensure successful task/project completion.

Primary responsibilities:

• Technical Consultancy for clients (Minimal Travel may be required)
