Your Role at a Glance
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: Mid Shift (9:00 AM-6:00 PM UK Time), Weekends Off
- Participate in the network team's on-call rotation and provide out-of-hours support for critical incidents, planned maintenance, and major infrastructure changes.

The Qualifications We Seek
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Network Engineering role within a global enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Networking in enterprise environments
- Experience with Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking components, including VNETs, VNET peering, UDRs, NSGs, service endpoints, and private endpoints
- Experience with Azure network architecture, including landing zones, hub-and-spoke designs, and Azure vWAN
- Experience supporting ExpressRoute and site-to-site VPN connectivity
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Azure networking, routing, and connectivity issues
- Strong understanding of network security principles and firewall policy management
- Strong knowledge of core networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VPNs
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
Strongly Preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
- Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching platforms
- Experience with OSPF and BGP routing protocols
- Experience managing SD-WAN solutions
- Experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with Cisco Meraki wireless and switching platforms
- Experience with Cisco ISE/NAC solutions
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Datadog, or Grafana
- Relevant certifications, such as Azure Network Engineer Associate, CCNP, PCNSE, or equivalent
- Experience within a law firm, professional services partnership, or shared services organization in a complex global environment, strongly preferred
- Experience collaborating with international stakeholders, particularly UK-based teams
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Desired Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Professional certifications relevant to enterprise networking technologies, such as Palo Alto PCNSE, HP Aruba ACSA or ASA, Cisco CCNP, or CCIE
Your Daily Tasks
Network Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage and maintain Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, VNETs, VNET peering, UDRs, service endpoints, landing zones, Azure vWAN, and ExpressRoute.
- Install and configure network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Inspect, maintain, and replace network cabling and network-related equipment when necessary.
- Monitor and analyze network performance across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Identify and resolve network performance bottlenecks and recommend enhancements to meet evolving network demands.
- Resolve network incidents within established SLAs, identify root causes, reduce recurring issues, and provide clear communication during major incidents.
- Plan and implement network infrastructure improvements, modifications, and replacements in accordance with industry standards.
- Establish and maintain connectivity and uptime service-level agreements.
- Maintain stable operations and efficient performance across company networks.
- Maintain network and IP connectivity across workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to maintain global system stability and availability.
- Participate in projects and research network products, services, protocols, and standards to support procurement and infrastructure development.
- Enforce technology standards across equipment rooms, data centers, equipment racks, cabling, patching, and recordkeeping.
- Assist with relevant annual IT budget requirements.
- Participate in the network team's on-call rotation and provide out-of-hours support for critical incidents, planned maintenance, and major infrastructure changes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company and client information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and company policies.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve network performance, security, resilience, and availability.
- Recommend and implement new technologies, best practices, and service improvements where appropriate.
- Improve operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and process optimization.
- Enhance network monitoring, alerting, and reporting capabilities to improve service reliability and reduce operational risk.
