Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Advisor to join our India team. You will serve as a Senior Network Engineer/SME supporting enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, handling advanced troubleshooting and design of routing and switching solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with F5 load balancers, ITIL change management, and the ability to operate in a 24x7 production environment while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience supporting and managing enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructures.
Extensive hands-on Routing & Switching in large enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in Layer 2/3 networking including VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
Hands-on experience administering F5 Load Balancers.
Familiarity with ITIL and Change Management processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication, plus customer service and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Senior Network Engineer/SME for enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex network incidents across LAN/WAN.
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize routing & switching solutions.
Administer and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers.
Participate in deployments, upgrades, and maintenance initiatives.
Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
Own and document escalated tickets through resolution.
Ensure configurations comply with standards and change management.
Participate in root cause analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
Support a 24x7 production environment and on-call rotations.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
