Job summary

MokshTech is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team in the Philippines. You will provide advanced network engineering, troubleshooting, deployment, and client-facing support for MSP clients.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Sophos Firewalls, Sophos switches, Ubiquiti Wi‑Fi (UniFi), VPNs, routers, switches, and related networking gear, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• USA MSP experience is highly preferred.
• Strong experience with firewall concepts and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3-level network support, troubleshooting, deployment, and configuration for MSP clients.
• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including Sophos Switches, Ubiquiti Wi‑Fi and networking equipment.
• Perform network discovery and assessment of existing client environments, including unfamiliar network hardware and configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues involving connectivity, routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, and firewall policies.
• Deploy and configure firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and other networking equipment for new and existing clients.
• Support new client onboarding, including network discovery, documentation, configuration review, and remediation.
• Handle situations where firewall credentials are unavailable, using administrative/recovery procedures to regain access.
• Analyze and reverse-engineer existing firewall and network configurations when onboarding clients with limited documentation or credentials.
• Assist with firewall recovery, configuration backup/rebuild, and factory-reset scenarios while minimizing client downtime.
• Work closely with onsite technicians to provide remote L3 support, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to clients through tickets, emails, calls, and remote sessions.
• Take ownership of escalated network incidents and drive issues through to resolution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explain technical issues clearly, and provide professional recommendations.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, configurations, IP addressing information, and troubleshooting notes.
