Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Capas, Philippines to maintain and support client network infrastructure. You will configure switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and multi-ISP failover, while ensuring security and high availability.

The role demands hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst/Meraki, Fortigate, and Palo Alto devices, plus VPNs (FortiClient, GlobalProtect) and central management via FortiManager/Panorama.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Cisco Catalyst and Meraki switching platforms.
• Proficient experience with Fortigate and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Working knowledge of FortiManager and Panorama.
• Experience with FortiClient and GlobalProtect VPN implementation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with IPSec VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• Proven ability to set up ISP connections with automatic failover for enterprise clients.
• Experience with Meraki wireless solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network security.
• Experience with a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues
• Design and implement multi-ISP configurations with automatic failover for enterprise clients
• Collaborate with onsite field technicians to diagnose and resolve various network issues

Position Overview

This role is critical in maintaining and supporting network infrastructure for our clients, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients on a daily basis.
