Job summary

USMC MQ-9 CLS Program is seeking a qualified technician to maintain and troubleshoot avionics for MQ-9 aircraft and Ground Control Stations. The role requires applying advanced electronic principles, mentoring junior technicians, and signing off maintenance records.

The ideal candidate will have a Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top-Secret, experience with MQ-9 systems, and the ability to work under limited supervision. Deployment readiness and English proficiency are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret.
• High School Diploma or completed military/vocational technical training.
• Minimum 5 years’ actual Aircraft Avionics and Ground Control Station maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ MQ-9 aircraft and GCS experience as an Avionics Technician.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics maintenance and RFF systems.
• Ability to lift/carry/move Military Issued Equipment over 50 pounds.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Willingness to travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, breakers, switches, and instruments.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond manuals.
• Interpret circuit relationships and test with high-end instruments.
• Provide leadership and training to lower-level avionic technicians.
• Sign off work in logs and IMDS/NALCOMIS/OOMA as required.
• Guide and mentor technicians during aircraft modifications and maintenance.
