Job summary

Amentum seeks a USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician to support avionics and Ground Control Station maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations. You will diagnose complex electrical issues and ensure flight readiness under supervisor guidance.

Requires active Secret clearance, at least 1 year in aircraft avionics/GCS maintenance, and ability to travel for CONUS/OCONUS deployments. Strong reading of schematics and data tables essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent military/vocational training.
• Minimum of one year of Aircraft Avionics and Ground Control Station (GCS) maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics maintenance and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of RFF systems, components, and accessories.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Eligible to gain and maintain IAT Level II certifications as specified.
• Must be able to travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments.
• Must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria and have a valid U.S. passport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and instruments.
• Solve complex problems beyond manuals by applying advanced electronics knowledge.
• Interpret circuit interrelationships, perform analyses, and use high-end test instruments.
• Prioritize workload to meet Daily Flight Schedule and document logs/records.
• Provide guidance to lower-level technicians during aircraft modifications and maintenance.
