Job summary

Amentum seeks a USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician to perform advanced electronics maintenance on aircraft and Ground Control Station systems. You will troubleshoot complex electronics, document actions, and support daily flight schedules.

Ideal candidates have strong avionics knowledge, ability to read wiring diagrams, and experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA/IMDS; willingness to travel on deployments and obtain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret US Government clearance.
• High School Diploma or completed relevant military/vocational training.
• Minimum of one year of Aircraft Avionics and Ground Control Station maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics maintenance and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of RFF systems, components, and accessories.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain IAT Level II certifications within 90 days.
• Ability to travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in demanding environments.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, and instruments.
• Troubleshoot complex electronics problems beyond manuals.
• Analyze circuits, calculate waveforms, and use high-end test instruments.
• Prioritize workload to meet daily flight schedules.
• Sign off work in NALCOMIS/OOMA or IMDS and maintain logs.
