Job summary

Amentum seeks a qualified MQ-9 CLS Mechanic to support the USMC MQ-9 Site Manager and perform hands-on maintenance on MQ-9 aircraft, structures, hydraulics, engines and avionics.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, a High School Diploma, and at least three years of aircraft maintenance experience, with MQ-9 experience preferred. Strong knowledge of technical publications and ability to deploy as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of actual Aircraft Mechanic maintenance experience.
• MQ-9 Aircraft experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds and deploy as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair MQ-9 components and subsystems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and isolate causes, then correct issues.
• Test engine operations and use test equipment to locate source of faults.
• Disassemble, inspect, and replace components as needed.
• Repair or replace engine components and reinstall engines.
• Adjust and repair instruments, flight controls, electrical and fuel systems.
• Perform aircraft services such as engine flushing and lubrication.
• Support maintenance procedures revisions to improve efficiency.
