Job summary

Tarino is seeking a Senior Loan Processor to support a New Zealand mortgage brokerage from a home-based setting. You will prepare and manage home loan applications from lodgement to settlement, partnering with advisers and a team leader to keep files moving with clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage broking support or loan processing.
• NZ experience ideal, AU experience also welcome.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a team and reporting to a team leader.

Responsibilities

• Assist advisers in reviewing, preparing, and packaging home loan applications
• Collect and verify supporting documentation from clients and third parties
• Liaise with lenders to monitor application status and move approvals
• Keep clients updated with timely, clear communication on application progress
• Maintain accurate file notes and records within the business's systems
• Ensure compliance with lending guidelines, regulations, and company policy
• Support the wider team with loan processing administration as required
• Conduct post‑settlement check-ins with clients
