Job summary

HSBC Philippines is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Processing for the Middle Office team. The role focuses on delivering key Investment Operations services, reconciling trades, and supporting fund migrations with accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of funds admin experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of the trade life cycle and capital markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a financial services related field.
• 3–5 years of funds administration experience.
• Solid understanding of Trade Life Cycle.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and accounting fundamentals.
• Proficient in Excel and data handling.
• Clear and effective English communication; great teamwork.
• Ability to re-prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.
• Awareness of operational risk and internal control requirements.
• Knowledge of derivatives instruments; IOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Investment Operations services (Trade/Reconciliation/Corporate Action) to assigned clients with quality and timeliness.
• Support rollout of new products/activities within Investment Operations.
• Participate in migration/remigration of funds and adhere to project timelines.
• Review postings, reconciliation packs and trades uploads for accuracy.
• Review upstream deliverables for break accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform maker and checker activities when required.
• Raise exceptions to appropriate teams and ensure timely resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and business partners.
• Participate in monthly BAU/governance calls and communicate status.
