Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai seeks a Finance Operations professional to own the middle-office layer between the investment desk and operations. You will manage security masters, investment universe administration, and stewardship obligations to ensure compliance with SEBI Mutual Funds regulations and AMFI guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining master data, monitoring compliance, tracking credit actions, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related finance field.
NISM VA and NISM XXI certifications are mandatory.
Working knowledge of equity and debt markets and valuation conventions.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with front/middle-office systems.

Responsibilities

Own creation and review of debt and equity security masters including ISIN data, coupon and cash-flow structures, call/put and embedded options, issuer mapping.
Manage the approved investment universe with audit trails and committee decisions.
Periodically reconcile master data against source documents, exchange feeds, and rating agency data.
Monitor pre- and post-trade compliance with limits and risk frameworks; escalate breaches.
Track rating actions and corporate actions; coordinate with investment team, custodian, RTA and fund accounting.
Prepare investment MIS for committees and audits; support internal and regulatory audits.
