Job summary

DOXA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in the Philippines for delivering Microsoft infrastructure solutions, focusing on SharePoint migrations, automation projects, and Azure-based operations. This full-time remote role requires advanced English and MS infrastructure expertise.

Responsibilities include owning and maintaining client environments, ensuring availability and security, incident ownership, and driving automation and integrations across systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure as the primary cloud platform.
• Strong background in Microsoft infrastructure administration and operational engineering.
• Broad foundational knowledge across multiple IT domains, including Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain assigned infrastructure services and client environments.
• Ensure system availability, performance, security, patching, backups, and overall environment health.
• Proactively monitor environments and remediate issues before client impact occurs.
• Serve as the primary incident owner for assigned services and systems.
• Independently resolve common and moderately complex technical issues.
• Lead incidents through the full lifecycle, including: detection, resolution, communication, post-incident follow-up.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors as needed.
• Implement and manage low-to-medium risk infrastructure changes.
• Develop, maintain, and improve scripts, tooling, and automations.
• Build and support API-based integrations between systems and platforms.
• Improve operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability through automation initiatives.
