Job summary

DOXA Talent in the Philippines seeks a Systems Administrator for remote, full-time work. You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, macOS, Windows Server 2016/2019 and networking issues, while supporting end users across client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 5+ years in systems administration or advanced desktop support.
• 3 years in a multi-client MSP environment.
• A+ and/or Network+ required; MD-100/MD-101 preferred (can be obtained after employment).
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and macOS
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 office suite
• Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is a plus
• Knowledge of Datto BCDR and/or SaaS Backup is a plus
• Knowledge of SonicWall firewalls is a plus
• Knowledge of Datto networking, or networking in general, is a plus
• Experience with ticketing systems is preferred, with Autotask experience a huge plus
• Superb verbal and written communications skills are a must

Responsibilities

• Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
• Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
• Process escalated tickets from our level 1 team, including break/fix issues, application installation and configuration, and user-level settings
• Handle server administration, networking, and security-related areas
• Build out new Hyper‑V hosts, troubleshoot and deploy SonicWall firewalls and Datto networking switches and access points
• Provide support on networking and server deployments
• Guide and mentor level 1 technicians
• Work through the ticketing system to document, track, and elevate tickets
• Manage the documentation platform to keep everything up to date along the way
