Job summary

Rockwell Land Corporation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Manager to provide technical leadership across planning, design, development, and implementation of complex real estate projects with focus on elevators, generators, and high-performance HVAC systems.

You will collaborate with project development, design, construction, and consultants to ensure energy-efficient, reliable and high-quality building systems that meet project requirements and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC).
• Preferably 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design, building systems, MEP engineering, construction, or real estate development.
• Strong experience in high-rise, luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, or other complex developments.
• Experience in elevators, generators, HVAC, ventilation, and specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design leadership for special, complex, and high-value real estate projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Provide expert technical direction on mechanical systems for premium or customized equipment.
• Review design proposals to balance performance, quality, cost, energy efficiency, and lifecycle value.
• Develop design criteria, specifications, and equipment requirements for major mechanical systems.
• Evaluate alternative systems and technologies to improve project value and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership for elevator/vertical transportation systems planning and design.
• Oversee standby and emergency generator systems sizing, integration, and reliability.
• Lead HVAC/air-conditioning reviews, energy performance, and innovation in mechanical systems.
• Manage design consultants, equipment suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine codes and project requirements; promote energy efficiency and lifecycle management.
