Job summary

Rockwell Land Corporation is seeking an Assistant Sanitary Design Manager to lead the planning and implementation of sanitary and wastewater systems for diverse development projects. You will ensure compliance with national building codes and environmental regulations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and project managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sanitary Engineering (or related field) and licensed engineer.
Proven experience in sanitary design engineering.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards for sanitary plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead conceptual, schematic, and detailed sanitary & wastewater designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Ensure accuracy of design calculations, sewer sizing, pump stations, STPs, and related components.
Conduct hydraulic/feasibility studies to determine optimal design strategies.
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, MEPF teams, PMs and contractors to ensure integrated designs.
Perform QA/QC checks on drawings, specs, cost estimates and construction details.
Lead and mentor a team of sanitary designers and engineers; review workloads and deliverables.
