Job summary

Resonanz Technical Group Inc. is seeking a Registered Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical team in resolving design-related production issues across cast, machined, sheet metal, and pneumatic components.

The role involves supporting standards and LtO maintenance, and delivering reliable mechanical solutions throughout product life cycles. You will mentor engineers, prepare reports and tender proposals, and coordinate with various agencies for project approvals while contributing to plans

Qualifications

• Must be a registered mechanical engineer.
• Experience providing senior technical leadership and mentoring to a mechanical team.
• Ability to prepare reports, proposals, tender/bid submissions, budgets and project plans.
• Involvement in design of plans, preliminary estimations and details using project guidelines.
• Preparation of drawings, specifications, design calculations and professional signing/sealing.

Responsibilities

• Lead effort to investigate and resolve design-related production issues with mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Support the Mechanical Technical Authority with standards, procedures, and systems for asset integrity and LtO maintenance.
• Provide input to maintenance standards, critical spares, procedures and scopes of work.
• Deliver mechanical solutions that are reliable and fit for purpose across life cycles.
• Mentor and lead the Mechanical Team members.
• Prepare reports, proposals, budgets, project plans, and other supporting docs.
• Engage with agencies for project approvals and permitting as needed.
• Research and implement new technology designs as mandated by clients and leadership.
• Participate in design of plans, preliminary estimations and details per project guidelines.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, design calculations, and perform professional signing/sealing.

Job description

(Registered Mechanical Engineer)

Lead effort to investigate and resolve design-related production issues with cast, molded machined, sheet metal and pneumatic manufactured and purchased parts and assemblies in cooperation with Manufacturing engineering, Production, Purchasing and Quality

Support the Mechanical Technical Authority in the provision of generic specific standards, procedures and systems that ensure a high level of asset integrity, availability and enable the installation License to Operate (LtO) to be maintained

Provide discipline specific input to maintenance standards, critical spares, procedures and scopes of work as requested

Deliver mechanical solutions that are reliable and fit for purpose to satisfy life requirements and to help achieve product guarantee periods and comply with all relevant International Standards

Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring to the Mechanical Team members

Prepares reports, proposals, and tender/bid submission documents, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation as required

When necessary, becomes involved with a variety of agencies for project approvals and permitting purposes

Responsible for researching and implementing new technology designs as mandated by clients and the Buildings Regional Director

You will be responsible for participation in the design of plans, preliminary estimations and details with the use of the guidelines for the project
