Job summary

Our Clients seeks a Mechanical Engineer to take technical ownership of mechanical systems in data-center projects, focusing on HVAC, cooling, fire protection, and related systems. You will collaborate with electrical, structural, ICT and project teams to ensure integrated designs, perform calculations, reviews, and provide guidance on equipment selection and standards.

Registration as a Mechanical Engineer is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in data center, mission-critical facilities projects preferred.
• Strong experience in HVAC, cooling, fire protection systems.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, TRACE, CFD.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, Uptime Institute standards.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer; PME license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering of data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Develop reliable, energy-efficient, scalable mechanical solutions.
• Perform thermal, airflow, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Prepare and review drawings, specs, and calculations.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, ICT, and other disciplines.
• Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of systems.
• Escalate major technical issues and provide engineering guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and international standards.
