Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems across multiple projects.

You will provide technical leadership, review designs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage projects from concept to handover. Proficiency in HVAC, piping, rotating equipment, and utilities, plus AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Revit/ANSYS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) required or preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale engineering or industrial projects.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design practices.
• Expertise in rotating equipment, HVAC, piping, utilities, and industrial systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, ANSYS, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering, asset management, preventive and predictive maintenance, and engineering standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee mechanical engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to engineers.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure safety, quality, operational, and regulatory compliance in solutions.
• Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the design and optimization of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, boilers, etc.).
• Perform feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and evaluations.
