Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who lives andbreathes digital. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will own themarketing strategy end to end, from channel planning and budget allocationthrough to campaign execution, performance analysis and reporting to theleadership team.
The ideal candidate has built and scaled digital programmesacross paid, organic, lifecycle and content — and can prove the commercialimpact of that work. Experience gained inside a digital marketing agency is a significant advantage: we value the pace, breadth of channel exposure andclient-facing discipline that agency environments build.
KeyResponsibilities
- Own and deliver the annual andquarterly marketing plan, aligned to revenue and growth targets.
- Set channel strategy andallocate budget across paid media, SEO, content, email/CRM, social andpartnerships.
- Define the KPI framework — CAC,ROAS, MQL/SQL volume and quality, pipeline contribution, LTV — and hold theteam to it.
- Track competitor activity,category trends and platform changes, and adjust the plan accordingly.
Digital CampaignLeadership
- Lead the planning, launch andoptimisation of integrated digital campaigns across the full funnel.
- Oversee paid media acrossGoogle Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and programmatic — including structure,targeting, creative testing and bid strategy.
- Direct the SEO and contentprogramme: technical health, keyword strategy, editorial calendar and digitalPR / link acquisition.
- Own lifecycle and marketingautomation — segmentation, nurture journeys, lead scoring and retentioncampaigns.
- Run a structured testingroadmap (A/B and multivariate) across landing pages, creative, audiences andmessaging.
Analytics &Performance
- Own the measurement stack: GA4,Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking, attribution modelling anddashboarding.
- Report performance and spendefficiency to leadership on monthly and quarterly cadence, with clearrecommendations.
- Translate data into decisions —reallocate budget, kill underperformers, and scale what works.
Team &Stakeholder Management
- Line-manage and develop themarketing team; set objectives, review work and coach on craft.
- Select and manage externalagencies, freelancers and platform partners, holding them to scope, budget andresults.
- Partner closely with Sales,Product and Design to align messaging, campaigns and go-to-market launches.
- Safeguard brand consistencyacross every digital touchpoint.
Requirements
- 6+ years in marketing, with atleast 3 years focused on digital and 1–2 years managing people or agencypartners.
- Demonstrable ownership of ameaningful paid media budget, with results you can talk through in detail.
- Deep, hands-on expertise acrossthe core digital disciplines: paid search and paid social, SEO, content,email/CRM and conversion rate optimisation.
- Strong command of GA4, GoogleTag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and atleast one marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, Klaviyo or similar).
- Confident with data —comfortable in spreadsheets and BI dashboards, and able to build a commercialcase from numbers.
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication; able to present to and influence senior stakeholders.
- Track record of managingmultiple concurrent campaigns to deadline without dropping quality.
- Prior experience in a digital marketing agency — ideally in a client-facing oraccount/strategy lead capacity, having managed multiple brands and verticalssimultaneously.
- Experience in [industry / B2BSaaS / e-commerce / retail].
- Working knowledge of marketinganalytics tooling such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Semrush, Ahrefs or Hotjar.
- Exposure to marketingoperations, CDPs, or AI-assisted content and campaign workflows.

- First 30 days: audit currentchannels, spend, tracking and content; deliver a findings and quick-winsreport.
- First 90 days: a signed-offchannel strategy and testing roadmap, with tracking and reporting rebuilt whereneeded.
- First 6 months: measurableimprovement in cost per acquisition and pipeline contribution against agreedbaselines.
