Senior Manager - Finance Shared Services

MicroSourcing is working directly with the Maples Group to support the expansion of their new operations in Manila. This role will be part of a global team and will assist in delivering award‑winning services to large institutional clients.
Your Role:
As a Senior Manager - Finance Shared Services, you will lead and optimize the end-to-end finance operations delivered through the shared services model. The role focuses on operational excellence, standardization, automation, compliance and service quality across finance processes, including Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) and Finance Controls. You will act as a strategic partner to Finance leadership and business stakeholders, ensuring service delivery is efficient, scalable, compliant and aligned with enterprise financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery and Operations
- Provide end‑to‑end leadership for finance shared services operations.
- Ensure consistent delivery against SLAs, KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Drive standardization of processes, policies and controls across geographies and business units.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management and internal controls in line with regulatory and audit requirements.
Strategic Leadership
- Lead service expansion, scope migration and transformation initiatives.
- Act as escalation point for complex operational, compliance and stakeholder issues.
- Report into and collaborate with the Senior Manager – Finance Shared Service in Montreal.
- Partner with the Global Finance Team to align and execute priorities.
- Translate enterprise finance strategy into a shared services execution roadmap for the Manila office.
People Capability Management
- Lead and develop a high performing team across multiple finance operational groups.
- Build strong succession pipelines and talent development programs following the Global Finance Framework.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer centricity.
Continuous Improvement and Transformation
- Champion identification of improvement opportunities and conversion of opportunities to realized savings/impacts.
- Lead automation and digital finance initiatives (RPA, workflow tools, AI‑enabled solutions).
- Identify cost optimization opportunities while improving service quality and cycle times.
- Drive data‑driven decision making through dashboards and performance analytics.
Compliance and Risks
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory and internal control requirements.
- Partner with internal and external audit and risk teams to address findings and remediation plans.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.
- MBA or Master’s in Finance is an advantage.
- Understanding of GAA and IFRS is preferred.
- 10–15 years in Finance Operations, Shared Services or Global Business Services.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role and 8 years in people management.
- Proven experience managing large, multi‑process finance operations.
