The Maples Group is recruiting a Finance Manager for Corporate and Inter-Company Accounting in Taguig. This hybrid, day-shift role leads a team handling general ledger, inter‑company settlements, and monthly closes across global entities.

You will drive financial reporting, ensure strict internal controls, and interact with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Legal and Audit teams to enable accurate, timely financials.

Qualifications

• The role requires 8–12 years in accounting and finance with leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in corporate accounting, general ledger, inter-company and financial reporting.
• Hands-on ERP experience and strong English communication for stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Accounting management including GL, journal entries and close processes.
• Oversee inter-company transactions and settlements across global entities.
• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and variance analysis.

Position: Finance Manager – Corporate and Inter-Company Accounting

Location: Taguig, Philippines

Work setup & shift: Hybrid | Day Shift

The Maples Group is a global leader in financial services, trusted by many of the world’s largest hedge fund managers, private equity firms, and international corporations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Accounting Management: oversee general ledger, journal entries, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate month, quarter and year‑end close processes.
• Oversee Inter‑Company Transactions: manage cross‑border transactions, recharges, transfer pricing allocations and settlements across multiple global entities, ensuring timely reconciliation and elimination of balances.
• Drive Financial Reporting: prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, provide key management reporting and variance analysis to finance leadership.
• Ensure Controls & Compliance: review and approve accounting entries in accordance with PFRS, IFRS or US GAAP, maintain internal control frameworks and serve as key point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Manage Key Stakeholders: act as the primary finance contact for corporate accounting matters, collaborating closely with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Payroll and Shared Services teams.
• Provide People Leadership: lead, coach and develop a high‑performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4‑year degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 8–12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing accounting teams.
• Deep expertise in Corporate Accounting, General Ledger Management, Inter‑Company Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or Workday).
• Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• CPA, CMA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification (strongly preferred).
• MBA or Master’s in Finance (advantage).
• Working knowledge of BOI and/or PEZA regulations (highly preferred).
• Experience with financial consolidation systems (highly desirable).
• Proactive mindset with proven track record of driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.
