Job summary

Mindanao Container Corporation MCC is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance, reliability initiatives, and electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems to support production.

You will plan maintenance schedules, manage inventories, supervise staff, and provide Plant Manager reports while keeping shop and grounds clean and compliant with SOPs. A licensed mechanical engineer with analytical skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate mechanical engineer with professional license.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering concepts including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts preventive maintenance for all equipment and machines.
• Implements maintenance and reliability initiatives focused on preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Maintains adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts.
• Responds quickly to breakdowns and improves MTBA for reliability.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment faults to minimize downtime.
• Inspects machinery for safety issues and ensures SOP compliance.
• Plans maintenance staff schedules according to workload forecasts.
• Provides reports to the Plant Manager.
• Supervises housekeeping and storage area cleanliness and disposal of waste.
• Trains maintenance and technical staff in safety and technical skills.
