Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Proficient with CICS and online transaction processing.
• Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing.
• Experience with SQL and DB2 database design.
• Familiar with job scheduling tools like Control-M/CA7 or equivalents.
• Knowledge of version control and change management processes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and specs.
• Perform coding, unit testing, and assist in UAT.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Work on batch job scheduling and online processing.
• Ensure documentation and coding standards are followed.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and stakeholders.
