Job summary

CEVA Logistics in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to lead the design and deployment automation for Linux systems across on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure). You will drive Ansible and CI/CD practices to streamline deployments and scale operations.

You will partner with application teams to standardize OS templates, ensure security and high availability, and apply best practices in infrastructure as code. This role also involves mentoring a small engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years engineering and operating Linux at scale (RHEL and/or SUSE) in production environments.
• Experience owning an automated provisioning pipeline delivering VMs at volume.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the linux automation engine for VM deployment.
• Collaborate with application teams to create linux OS standards and templates.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, highly available, and secure.
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infra issues during implementation.
• Monitor and improve infrastructure and application performance.
• Stay updated with new technologies and trends in infra design.
