Job summary

LevelBlue in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure at scale. You will be hands-on, focusing on infrastructure automation, reliability, and secure deployment practices, partnering with Development, QA, and Operations.

You will implement Terraform, Packer, Puppet, and CI/CD tools across AWS, promote best practices, and contribute to immutable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience operating AWS-native services at scale.
• Production experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and state management.
• Experience building machine images with Packer for secure baseline builds.
• Hands-on Puppet experience in Linux environments, including idempotent resource management.
• Automation through Bash and Python for operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote best practices in cloud-native architecture and deployment, administering through automation and infrastructure as code.
• Help evolve development guidelines and principles for faster service delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain immutable infrastructure workflows using Terraform, Packer, and Puppet across AWS environments.
• Implement and support DevOps tools for configuration management, build, deploy, CI, and automated testing.
• Manage, maintain, and improve automated code deployment practices.
• Administer and maintain version control software and repositories.
• Define, manage, and respond to data-driven metrics for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development to codify infrastructure requirements from application needs.
