Job summary

CEC Construction Corporation in Pasig is hiring a Rigger (NC I) to assist in lifting, moving, positioning, and securing heavy materials at the project site. On-site role requires a high school or vocational graduate and a TESDA NC I in Rigging.

You will work with crane operators, follow lifting plans, and maintain rigging tools while ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures. Candidates with 1–2 years of construction experience and willingness to work extended hours are encouraged

Qualifications

• TESDA NC I in Rigging or related qualification required.

• Knowledge of basic lifting procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lifting, moving, positioning, and securing heavy materials, equipment, and loads at the project site.
• Assist crane operators during lifting and positioning activities.
• Ensure proper signaling and communication during lifting operations.
• Check load weight, balance, and stability before lifting.
• Maintain rigging tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with foremen, crane operators, and safety personnel regarding lifting activities.
• Follow project procedures, lifting plans, and supervisor instructions.

• The Rigger (NC I) is responsible for assisting in lifting, moving, positioning, and securing heavy materials, equipment, and loads at the construction or project site. The position ensures that rigging activities are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures, safety standards, and lifting plans. The Rigger must possess a valid TESDA National Certificate I (NC I) in Rigging or a related qualification.
• Prepare, inspect, and assemble rigging gear and lifting equipment before operations.
• Attach loads properly using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, and other rigging tools.
• Assist crane operators during lifting and positioning activities.
• Ensure proper signaling and communication during lifting operations.
• Check load weight, balance, and stability before lifting.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with site safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct a visual inspection of rigging equipment and report damaged tools immediately.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring construction materials and equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of rigging tools and the work area.
• Coordinate with foremen, operators, and safety personnel regarding lifting activities.
• Follow project procedures, lifting plans, and supervisor instructions.

Qualifications:

• A high school graduate or vocational graduate is preferred.
• With TESDA National Certificate I (NC I) in Rigging or a related course.
• Having at least 1-2 years of experience in construction, lifting, or rigging operations is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in basic lifting procedures and safety practices.
• Physically fit and capable of working in construction environments.
• Willing to work extended hours and be assigned to project sites.
