Job summary

HDEC-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE is seeking a Rigger to assist in lifting operations and ensure safe handling of materials on site in Laguna, Philippines. You will use rigging techniques, inspect equipment, and help maintain compliance with safety rules.

This role requires practical onsite work and the ability to coordinate with crane operators and other workers. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of rigging experience, familiarity with slings, shackles, wire ropes, and lifting beams, and a willingness

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of rigging experience.
  • Certification in rigging is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and adhere to safe load limits.
  • Good communication with crane operators and workers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in lifting and moving materials safely using proper rigging techniques
  • Inspect and properly use slings, shackles, wire ropes, chain blocks, lifting beams, and other rigging equipment
  • Ensure loads are properly secured and within safe load limits
  • Coordinate with crane operators, signalmen, and other workers during lifting operations
  • Follow all company safety rules and onsite procedures
  • Maintain and take care of rigging tools and equipment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

About the role

A Rigger role involving the safe handling, inspection, and coordination of lifting operations using rigging equipment and techniques.

About you
  • TESDA Rigging NC I or related certification is an advantage

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Rigger

  • Knowledgeable in proper rigging methods and lifting equipment

  • Good communication skills, especially when coordinating with crane operators and workers

  • Physically fit and willing to work onsite/outdoors and in demanding conditions

  • Willing to work on a project-based/site assignment
