Job summary

Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines seeks a Photoduplication Head to set strategic direction and manage the Rizal Library Photoduplication Section. The role includes librarianship duties and day-to-day operations leadership across policies, budgeting, and service delivery.

You will supervise staff, develop section-wide standards, coordinate with the library executive team, and ensure alignment with university goals while advancing preservation and access to materials.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) or MLIS, or equivalent.
• Licensed Librarian.
• At least 4 years of library experience in a professional area.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets direction and operational goals of the Section in alignment with Rizal Library and the Cluster.
• Leads development of library policies, procedures, and standards pertinent to the Section.
• Manages employee performance through mentoring, targets, and development opportunities.
• Prepares and manages the Section’s budget and expenditures to optimize costs.
• Collaborates with Rizal Library Executive Team on shared initiatives and services.
• Oversees procurement for Photoduplication projects and endorses purchases to CPO.
• Promotes and collaborates with stakeholders on library collections and services.
