Job summary

Cebu Institute of Technology University is looking for a Periodical Librarian to manage the Library Periodicals section. The role involves developing procedures and organizing collections using Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science, be a Licensed Librarian, and preferably have experience in reference services. This position is located in Cebu City, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Experience in using online databases, integrated library systems, and digital reference tools.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) or equivalent
• Preferably with Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or related field is preferred for Graduate School Librarian and advantageous for other roles
• Must be a Licensed Librarian under Republic Act 9246
