Job summary
Changan Automobile Philippines is seeking a senior legal and compliance executive to lead the subsidiary's legal affairs across vehicle import/export, trade distribution and dealer networks. You will provide practical legal guidance for daily operations and major decisions, review contracts, and manage the contract lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Must hold a law degree and be a licensed Philippines attorney (Bar admitted).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant legal/compliance experience; 5 years for outstanding candidates.
- Fluent English and Filipino; Chinese is a plus.
- Experience with corporate/commercial law, intl trade, privacy and data compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee legal and compliance management for the Philippines subsidiary across import/export, trade distribution and dealer network.
- Provide legal advice for daily operations, major decisions and disputes; draft, review and negotiate contracts and related documents.
- Monitor Philippine and international laws; deliver updates, risk assessments and compliance recommendations.
- Support global compliance programs (privacy, competition, consumer protection, trade controls) and training.
- Manage litigation, arbitration and regulatory investigations; coordinate with external counsel.
- Develop local legal/compliance processes and continuously mitigate business risk.
- Maintain relationships with external law firms and legal service providers; manage legal costs.
