Qualifications

• Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.
• Around 3 years legal experience from a law firm or multinational corporation.
• Experience in commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.

Job description

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice on business operations and commercial matters.
• Advise on Philippine corporate, labor, customs and regulatory compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research and monitor relevant laws, regulations and regulatory developments.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Secretary on corporate governance and corporate housekeeping matters.
• Provide legal support for disputes, claims, administrative proceedings and litigation, including coordination with external counsel.
• Work closely with business and other functional teams to identify legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Perform other legal and compliance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing
• Around 3 years legal experience from a law firm or a multinational corporation. Experience in the automotive or electric vehicle industry preferred.
• With experience in commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance (including labor and customs matters)
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and precise legal documents
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters with accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Solid grounding in legal terminology, procedures, and document/records management
• Proficient in legal research tools, document management systems, and standard office/legal software
• Proactive, collaborative, and business-oriented approach, with ability to advise non-legal stakeholders in practical terms
• Ability to work independently under supervision while managing competing priorities across multiple business units
