Job summary

Sun Life Financial, Inc. is seeking a Learning Facilitator to deliver learner-centric training across Canadian Operations. You will engage adult learners, adapt on the fly, and ensure program objectives are met in multi-location settings.

You will model Sun Life values, provide coaching, and collaborate with the Design team to keep facilitator guides current, while mentoring newer facilitators and supporting learning metrics and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree with 2+ years in facilitation.
• Certification in adult education preferred.
• Experience in contact centre training is an asset.
• Strong ability to present information and manage learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learner-centric training programs for multiple audiences across locations.
• Lead new-hire groups of up to 20 learners per session.
• Provide effective leadership, coaching, support, and motivation to groups of learners.
• Demonstrate adult learning principles and adapt facilitation approach as needed.
• Identify learner performance and risk factors early and raise awareness with leadership.
• Collaborate with peers and the Design team to improve curriculum and materials.
• Coordinate all aspects of learning delivery and scheduling.
