Job summary

SYSGEN RPO in Metro Manila is seeking a Back-End Software Engineer (Java Developer) to build scalable cloud-based platforms for enterprise clients. You will architect and implement backend services, drive CI/CD practices, and collaborate with Product and UX teams to refine requirements.

You should have strong Java, Spring, REST, and MongoDB experience, with a track record delivering high-performance web applications. Prior leadership or fintech/travel domain exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services and MongoDB.
• Proven track record designing and building mission-critical, high-performance web applications.
• Technical Lead / Management experience is a plus.
• Experience in Travel, Fintech or banking domains is desirable.
• Strong delivery mindset focused on building solutions, not just technology.
• Experience with payment integrations, reservation platforms, CMS, and data processing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and web security principles.
• Exposure to performance testing frameworks and tools.
