Job summary

Sysgen RPO, Inc. is seeking a Back-End Software Engineer (Java Developer) to join our engineering team. You will drive greenfield development of cloud-based platforms, architect scalable backend services, and collaborate with Product and UX teams to refine requirements and roadmaps.

The role requires strong Java/Spring/REST/MongoDB skills, a proven delivery mindset, and experience with DevOps practices and testing frameworks. A degree in CS/Software Eng is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services, and MongoDB.
• Proven track record in designing and building mission-critical, high-performance web applications.
• Strong delivery mindset focused on building solutions, not just technology.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably First Class Honors) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield development of cloud-based digital platforms used by consumers and enterprise clients.
• Architect, design, and code scalable backend systems.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to refine requirements and shape technology roadmaps.
• Implement and enhance agile development practices (CI/CD, TDD).
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and frameworks.
• Drive innovation in data-driven, dynamic retailing solutions.
