Job summary

SYSGEN RPO is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and lead the development of scalable APIs and microservices. The role emphasizes strong typing in Go or Java, database proficiency (PostgreSQL, Redis, Spanner), and messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Ideal candidates will have cloud experience (AWS/Azure), sharp analytical skills, and a clear understanding of when to apply systems thinking to achieve scalable, high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in strongly typed languages such as Go or Java.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Spanner).
• Proficiency with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience in developing well-architected APIs and microservices.
• Experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of coding vs software engineering, focusing on systems thinking, scalability, quality.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and align teams.
• Available for day shift and hybrid setup (3x on-site).
