Job summary

Sysgen RPO, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and services. The role covers backend services, APIs, authentication, and modern web apps with front-end work in React/Node.js.

You will collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to secure, scalable solutions including OKTA integration and AI-enabled enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring, REST, Node.js, and front-end skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java applications using Spring frameworks.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Build modern front-end apps using React and Node.js.
• Design and maintain relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Implement secure authentication with OKTA and other IdPs.
• Develop secure API integrations using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical design docs.
• Integrate AI/ML-based services where applicable.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high quality, scalable, and secure code.
