Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management is seeking an experienced Architecture and Backend Java lead to design end-to-end technical solutions, drive architectural decisions, and shepherd complex applications across teams.

You will work with Java 17/8, RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, cloud-native microservices, testing with JUnit, security best practices, and modern development practices including CI/CD and Git workflows; front-end exposure is a plus.

• Strong experience in software design and solution architecture leading to architecting complex applications.
• Ability to design end-to-end technical solutions and make sound architectural decisions.
• Experience leading technical discussions and collaborating with developers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions and make architectural decisions.
• Lead architectural discussions and collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring.
• Drive cloud-native architectures including microservices and integration patterns.
• Promote testing (unit/integration) and security best practices.
