Job summary

SM Retail is seeking an experienced Java Developer (Lead) with at least 8 years of Java development and application support to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications while providing technical leadership. This role requires hands-on coding, team mentorship, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and Git, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Java development and application support experience.
• Proven leadership or team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and Git.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD is an advantage.
• Willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support Java-based enterprise applications.
